Mission

The Rumson Community Appeal strives to support the needs and well-being of our community by facilitating charitable giving.

Through its annual fundraising drive, the Rumson Community Appeal distributes funds to local non–profit organizations including the Rumson Education Foundation, Oceanic Free Library, Interfaith Neighbors/Meals on Wheels and many others.  For these non-profits, the Appeal provides critical fundraising access to the generous residents of Rumson. At the same time, we simplify giving for our residents by offering a single collection point for donations to these deserving non–profits.  You have the option to decide how much to distribute to each organization (or leave it up to us).   

The Rumson Community Appeal has been operating continuously for over 50 years and has maintained its focus on maximum donations with minimal administrative costs. The Rumson Community Appeal regularly donates 95% of the monies collected directly to the non-profits it serves.
